Hi, I’m an editor and writer, an earthy wordsmith, priestess of possibilities, the one you call when it matters.

As an editor, I’ve helped shape everything from features and cultural deep dives to news and recipes. Most recently I was senior editor, Food and Drink, at Thrillist, where I edited two James Beard-nominated pieces, Best New Restaurants of 2019 and How the Starbucks Macchiato Ruined My Indie Coffee Shop Experiences.

As a writer I’ve contributed stories and recipes to Healthyish/Bon Appetit, Serious Eats, and Food52. I’ve also written on everything from fitness to menopause to COVID-19 for various health publications.

I grew up outside Denver, Colorado, went to Brigham Young University, earned my master's degree from Hunter College, and spent most of my adult life in Brooklyn. I currently live with my husband and son in Westchester County.

I also run a wellness platform for women over 40 called Hot Shift.

In my spare time I lift weights, practice yoga, take long walks, meditate, tend my plant pets, and cook dinner.
